RAPAPORT… PRESS RELEASE, February 16, 2011 – The annual Rapaport Conference at BaselWorld will take place on March 25, 2011. A special presentation by Martin Rapaport, Chairman of the Rapaport Group, entitled “How to Make Money in the Diamond Business” will take place at 9:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. in the Montreal Hall at the Basel Congress Center, Basel, Switzerland.
The Annual Rapaport Fair Trade Jewelry Conference will follow at 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. in the same venue. This year’s conference will be a round table discussion about how suppliers and retailers can participate in the growing market for fair trade jewelry. Topics will include: How can fair trade be made economically viable? How will the growing consumer demand for fair trade products affect our industry?
