“We know fewer children are going to school, while healthcare and education facilities are constantly deteriorating,” said Mac Arthur Hill, UNICEF spokesman.
Sanctions against Liberia’s diamond exports went into effect in May as a result of Liberia’s alleged failure to sever ties with Sierra Leone’s Revolutionary United Front (RUF).
